Andean cross - black
Chakana is a traditional symbol and pendant of the Incas. Sometimes this symbol is also referred to as the Inca Cross or the Inca Cross. It is also often called the Cross of the Andes or the Andean Cross. Andean crosses are used for protection and to purify the biofield.
The Chakana-Andean cross-Andean cosmology-the three degrees symbolize the three worlds. The "heavenly" world, the world of the spirit, the Higher Self, the so-called Hanan Pacha, the earthly world, the world of people, the world of everyday reality, the so-called Kay Pacha, and the "underground" world, the realm of the unconscious, the subconscious, the inner world of dreams and intuition, the so-called Ukhu Pacha. The Serpent rules the South-here we learn to put the past behind us, the Jaguar rules the West-here we can find peace, tranquility and here we can look beyond death, the Hummingbird rules the North-here we connect with healing ancestors and future generations, the Eagle (condor) rules the East-here we connect with the Great Spirit. Shamans also work with "Mother Earth" and Father Sky", the Sun and the Moon
The serpent symbolizes knowledge, sexuality and the healing power of nature. It is a universal archetype: in the East, the snake symbolizes the kundalini energy, which is stored at the root of the spine and rises through the chakras; the staff of Aesculapius, the symbol of physicians, originally from ancient Greece, depicts two snakes wrapped around a staff, etc. The serpent, associated with wisdom and healing, represents the fundamental life force that seeks unity and creation. The snake is also a symbol of fertility. Fecundity, or fertility, is the creative principle associated with femininity-after all, every cell in the body seeks to divide and multiply. If we harness the energy of the snake archetype, we call upon the feminine creative principle to help us, which can revive passion and help us shed the past as the snake sheds its skin.
The jaguar is the king of the Amazon rainforest and the most important animal for the jungle shaman because it is a symbol of the power of transformation. The shaman and the jaguar are not just counterparts of each other-one is the very image of the other. Indigenous tribes of the rainforest consider jaguars to be the custodians of the jungle because they are at the top of the food chain and have no natural enemies except humans. By ridding the forest of weak individuals, the jaguar makes room for new life to be born. This creature teaches us that in times of every crisis, opportunity comes and death is a call to rebirth. In the jungle, survival means constant renewal - and the jaguar embodies the power of transformation, of life and death. The energy of the jaguar can renew an individual, a group of people, and an entire village. Sometimes, due to the cycles of nature, a tribe must leave a village in order for its inhabitants to thrive elsewhere. Such displacement reflects the cycle of life and death, of which the jaguar is a symbol. The Mayorun, an indigenous tribe from the Amazon jungle, call themselves the "jaguar nation"-they tattoo their faces to look like cats-and are able to communicate with each other without words-telepathically. The ability to communicate without words is one of the legendary qualities of jaguar shamans.
The eagle (Condor) is a powerful force animal that symbolizes prudence, shrewdness, and keen eyesight. According to the shamans, the energy of the eagle helps us to see life from a perspective without getting bogged down in countless minute details. The eagle's energy can help us understand where we are coming from and where we are going, and gives us a glimpse into the past and the future. the eagle gives us wings to soar high above our banal everyday concerns. The eagle also represents a universal principle of nature, supersensible and supra-rational. Biologists have identified this principle as one of the primary blueprints in nature. It acts as the driving force of evolution-in other words, living molecules clump into cells, which form tissues, then organs, and finally transcend the assembly of organs and tissues to become higher beings, such as whales or humans. The eagle teaches us that emotional needs cannot be satisfied by material things and that every problem has a solution at the level of the spirit. On the wings of the eagle we can rise above our daily worries , look at them from a different perspective and see things as they really are.
The hummingbird - this tiny, tenacious and courageous bird shows us how to take the long road of development and growth. It is the noblest journey one can take: a journey towards one's own spirit. The amazing energy of this archetype inspires us to embark on our own pilgrimage back to the source where our spirit was birthed. If we don't have the time, money or knowledge to do what we are attempting, the energy of the hummingbird will give us the courage, strength and guidance we need to succeed.
